Dear Bhakta,

Welcome to our beloved Baba's virtual ashram in cyber space. We trust this humble and small attempt will somewhat assuage the thirst his disciples and devotees often feel for a glimpse or a word of our dear Baba.

Baba departed this world on 1 December 2004 leaving a huge void in our lives. Nothing is the same anymore. And yet Baba has shown in many inscrutable ways that he is there for us. Scores of devotees have experienced his presence and his timely help on numerous occasions.

The objective of this website is to establish a space where his disciples and devotees can connect with Baba and with each other to know what is happening in terms of his "activities", his ashrams, his festivals, his projects, his katha and his people.

Just as it is impossible to capture the essence of the ocean in a bottle, it is similarly impossible to present the unfathomable Personality that was our great Gurudev. He revealed different facets of himself to different people. Therefore, the material contained in his wesbite does not even scratch the surface.

Most of the information given here is from back issues of The Harmonist magazine published by Sri Gauranga Ashram. In time to come, we hope to upload pdf versions of The Harmonist and kirtan, discources and videos of Baba.

We pray for forgiveness for this audacious attempt and beg Baba's disciples and devotees to please share their experiences of Baba's grace on them, photographs and video they may have and thereby contribute to keeping his memory and katha alive and blissful.

Offered unto the lotus feet of Baba with a prayer for his blessings to this endeavour.
